Our client was on I-5 southbound, approximately 2000 feet south of Stewart Rd. The defendant, who was driving a large truck, was traveling on the same road in the town of Lathrop, in San Joaquin County, where the rear-end accident occurred.
They were traveling on the freeway with due care immediately in front of the defendant, who was driving a large Ford truck. As our client and the defendant proceeded southbound, the defendant failed to slow down and stop within the flow of traffic. Accordingly, the accused driver violated Section 22350 of the Arizona Vehicle Code by recklessly striking the rear of our client’s vehicle.
